Nestled along the lush hillsides of Haiku, the Haiku Ridge Residence was designed to embrace the natural beauty, climate, and indoor-outdoor lifestyle of Upcountry Maui. This custom design-build project blends modern island architecture with warm natural materials, expansive openings, and a seamless connection to the surrounding landscape.

A defining feature of the home is the fully integrated open-air living system, utilizing oversized architectural sliding doors and strategically positioned window packages to blur the line between interior and exterior spaces. HNH Build carefully coordinated the sourcing, detailing, and integration of high-performance architectural windows and doors to maximize airflow, natural light, and panoramic ridge-to-ocean views while supporting long-term energy efficiency and climate responsiveness.

The residence combines rich wood textures, clean modern lines, and covered outdoor living spaces to create a contemporary retreat deeply rooted in the Maui environment. Every element of the project was intentionally designed to support relaxed island living while delivering the performance, craftsmanship, and durability required for Hawaii’s unique coastal climate.
