You can fully customize this door system to perfectly suit your home. Choose from contemporary or traditional panel styles and among endless color, stain, and hardware options.

Colors
Panel Features
Select wood components are kiln dried, and treated with water/insect repellent and preservative. Wood components are fitted with aluminum extrusions on the exterior.
Sills have built-in drainage channel that allows water to drain away from the interior of the door. A polyurethane thermal barrier helps reduce heat loss.
Premium grade aluminum inswing sill with an oak threshold. Sills have a built-in drainage channel that allows water to drain away from the interior of the door. Autolatch® stainless steel multi-point locking system locks the panel in three positions to provide a secure, weather-resistant entry system. Some door heights lock the panel in four positions.

Ideal for: All Climates
SmartSun™ with HeatLock Coating is available on E-Series windows. This prevents more heat from escaping your home but slightly reduces the visible light transmitted through the glass.
SmartSun™ glass gives you the benefits of Low-E glass, plus it helps shield your home from the sun’s heat and filters out 95% of harmful UV rays. HeatLock® coating added to most of our glass options and reflects heat that escapes your home.
Decorative and Specialty Glass
Safety Glass Tempered safety glass is available on all products, and comes standard on all patio doors.
Laminated Glass Laminated glass is also available, for added strength, enhanced security and sound control.
Sound-Reducing Glass This glass helps reduce the volume of outside noise. Available with Low-E, SmartSun and HeatLock coatings.

Grill Types
Grilles applied to the interior and exterior of the window with aluminum spacers between the glass create an authentic look.
An economical solution with traditional beauty, Andersen’s Simulated Divided Light features fixed exterior and interior grilles without an internal spacer.
Andersen’s removable wood grilles are installed on the interior surface. They are available with an optional surround and an optional permanently applied exterior grille.
Aluminum grilles sit between two panes of glass for easy cleaning.

Charcoal fiberglass screen mesh fits into an aluminum frame in 50 exterior colors. Aluminum screen mesh is also available.
The concealed insect screen has charcoal fiberglass panels. Insect screen retracts when not needed, providing an unobstructed view through the glass. Available in 50 exterior colors.
