Andersen Folding Doors are made for homeowners who want to bring the outside in and inside out. This moving glass wall system beautifully frames your views and blurs the line between your indoor and outdoor space.
Made with an aluminum-clad exterior and a rich wood interior this system is designed for durability and energy efficiency. Aluminum-clad panels feature a dual weatherstrip design at the bottom and along the panel edges to provide a weathertight seal.

The folding outswing door has a multi-point locking system with a hook bolt above and below the center deadbolt along with flush bolts on the non-active panels that lock into the head and sill. This system provides a weathertight seal and enhanced security.

Glass
Most people can enjoy optimal energy performance and comfort with Low-E / Low-E4® glass. Low-E glass reflects heat in the summer and helps keep heat inside in the winter, making this a good choice in climates where both heating and cooling costs are a concern.

SmartSun™ with HeatLock Coating is available on E-Series windows. This prevents more heat from escaping your home but slightly reduces the visible light transmitted through the glass.
SmartSun™ glass gives you the benefits of Low-E glass, plus it helps shield your home from the sun’s heat and filters out 95% of harmful UV rays. HeatLock® coating added to most of our glass options and reflects heat that escapes your home.
Decorative and Specialty Glass
Safety Glass Tempered safety glass is available on all products, and comes standard on all patio doors.
Laminated Glass Laminated glass is also available, for added strength, enhanced security and sound control.
Sound-Reducing Glass This glass helps reduce the volume of outside noise. Available with Low-E, SmartSun and HeatLock coatings.

Grill Types
Grilles applied to the interior and exterior of the window with aluminum spacers between the glass create an authentic look.
An economical solution with traditional beauty, Andersen’s Simulated Divided Light features fixed exterior and interior grilles without an internal spacer.
Andersen’s removable wood grilles are installed on the interior surface. They are available with an optional surround and an optional permanently applied exterior grille.
Aluminum grilles sit between two panes of glass for easy cleaning.

The on-floor drainage sill offers a PG40* rating for sizes up to 24′ wide and 8′ tall and PG30 rating for sizes up to 24′ wide and 10′ tall. Available in painted gray or dark bronze.
*Performance Rating: Class SP-PG40 Size Tested 159 x 95.5 in, for a door with standard sill. DP = +40psf/-40psf. Class SP-PG30 Size Tested 159 x 119.5 in, for a door with standard sill. DP = +30psf/-30psf. Doors will other sill options are not rated.
The on-floor low-threshold sill option provides easy accessibility. Available in painted gray or dark bronze.
The flush sill option places the track even with the finished floor.
